Election 2024: According to a report by the Center for Media Studies (CMS), an average of 100 crore rupees was spent on one seat in the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Based on this, a total of 54,300 crore rupees was spent for 543 seats. Looking at the estimated expenses of the last four Lok Sabha elections, there has been an increase of at least 40 percent in spending in each election compared to the previous one.
