Lucknow: Farmers across the state will be able to sell their produce in the market through mobile app. Traders will create portals and apps on the lines of online sales companies. Farmers will download this app on their mobile and after registering for sale, they will show the yield and price. Once the deal is struck, traders will purchase the produce through the app only. However, this facility will be available only for wholesale trade. This will increase competition among traders to create portals and farmers will get sales options. Mandi Parishad has started the process of implementing this proposal passed in July.
