Farmers’ Protest: For the fifth consecutive day, farmers remained steadfast on the railway tracks near Shambhu Railway Station with their demands. As a result, about 112 trains were affected. The impact of the protest is such that by Saturday, refunds amounting to Rs. 20.12 lakh have been issued to 3821 passengers. Tourism has taken such a hit that taxi bookings are also being cancelled.
