Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna can be made the convenor of the seven-member committee formed to rationalize the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate. An officer gave this information.
Apart from this, Bihar Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary will replace Tarkishore Prasad as a member in the Group of Ministers (GOM). Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda will also be made a member of the committee.
