Once again, former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth finds himself entangled in controversies. A case has been filed against Sreesanth and two of his associates under Section 420 of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) in Kannur, Kerala. Prior to this, in 2013, Sreesanth was arrested in Delhi on charges of spot-fixing. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) had imposed a lifelong ban on him at that time.
