G20 Summit: The G20 summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10.

The meeting is expected to discuss more loans from multilateral institutions to developing countries, reform of the international credit system and rules on cryptocurrencies.The G20 forum plays an important role in determining international economic issues.

20 major countries of the world formed an economic group in 1999 after the Asian financial crisis. The group currently accounts for 80 percent of global gross domestic product (GDP) and 75 percent of international trade.

A total of 17 G20 meetings have been held so far. This 18th G20 summit is going to be held in New Delhi. The member countries of this group include India as well as the world’s most powerful countries like America, China, Russia, Britain, France. Along with this, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Indonesia along with European Union are also part of this group.
