Police in Noida have arrested seven people, three of whom it is alleged created fake Aadhaar cards using toe prints instead of fingerprints. The three are accused of making the cards for customers who had low Credit Information Bureau of India Limited (CIBIL) scores and needed bank loans. The remaining four were arrested for using the fake cards. The gang, which had been operating for two to three months, was caught after an anonymous tip-off.
