Ghosi (Maunath Bhanjan): The temperament of voters in the Ghosi Lok Sabha constituency is somewhat distinct. Sometimes they vote based on issues and trends, while other times it’s to teach someone a lesson. Despite being a bastion for the Left, Ghosi saw Jharkhand’s Ray facing defeat, while Kalpanath Ray, seen as a synonym for development, tasted victory for the first time in 1989. However, choosing Kalpanath Ray in 1989 in the name of development, only the issue of development remained successful as long as he was alive. This development issue swallowed every promise, from casteism to communalism.
