Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had made a big announcement in its manifesto before the elections, in which BJP has announced to provide 2 free gas cylinders to women in a year. Which is going to start from this Diwali after about one and a half years. The Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh has given necessary guidelines after holding a meeting with departmental officials on the proposal related to this scheme.
