Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with the Grand Cross of the Order of Honor by Greek President Katerina N. Sakellaropoulou in Athens. The Order of Honor was established in 1975, depicting Athena’s head with a star in front of her and the inscription ‘Only for the Righteous.’ The Grand Cross of the Order of Honor is bestowed by the Greek President to Prime Ministers and distinguished figures who have contributed to elevating Greece’s stature due to their prominent positions. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that PM Modi’s significant contributions to enhancing Greece-India friendship in areas of mutual interest have been recognized.
