Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shared information that a bill regarding the formation of the Higher Education Commission of India (HECI) will soon be presented in Parliament. The HECI, once formed, will take over the responsibilities previously held by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
