The Education Minister said that 20 colleges in the state would be made model degree colleges and an amount of Rs 10 to 20 crore would be allocated to them for expansion of facilities. He further said that the aim of the government is that every degree college should have 180 days of study in a year. Along with this, student union elections can be conducted on the same day every year in September.
