Himachal Election: In the Kangra district, a total of 1625 polling booths have been set up across 15 assembly constituencies for the 2022 Legislative Assembly elections. Among them, there are 158 sensitive and 291 hyper-sensitive polling stations. Special arrangements have been made at sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling centers. Additionally, there will be an increased deployment of security forces for safety, and the Election Commission is also ensuring enhanced monitoring. At several locations, paramilitary forces and police contingents have conducted flag marches to reassure people and encourage them to vote fearlessly.
