Bollywood’s well-known filmmaker Rohit Shetty has carved a niche for himself in the industry on the basis of his hard work and dedication. Be it action, comedy or romance the director has managed to master all genres. After starting his journey as a stunt director and assistant director, he directed his debut film ‘Zameen’ in 2003. In September, Rohit will complete 20 years in the industry as a director. The filmmaker is shooting for his first web series ‘Indian Police Force’ starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. He is also preparing for his Singham franchise with Ajay Devgan.

During an interaction with a media outlet, Rohit said, “We will start pre-production soon. Right now, there is Khatron Ke Khiladi and then we have a few days of shooting left for Indian Police Force. At the same time, we have also started preparing for Singham Again. People will come to know about it soon.” Talking about his journey of 20 years, he shared that he has seen a lot of ups and downs, but has always kept his integrity with him.

He said, “When I go back in time, I made my first film, but it didn’t do well. Made another ‘Golmaal’ which became a brand. Made an action film that became a cult then suddenly came Khatron Ke Khiladi Mere Paas, which was earlier hosted by superstars Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. I never knew how the audience would take it, but everything went well for me. What more could I ask for?

The director further added, “However, I must say one thing, whatever I did, I did it with utmost sincerity. Hard work is required, but you also need to be true to your work. Success or failure, whatever may be the result, honesty should always be maintained. Rohit Shetty elaborated that when one is doing so much work, sometimes things go wrong.
