In Arunachal Pradesh, the ruling BJP has replaced its candidate for the Tezu assembly seat. The BJP had earlier announced Taayang as its candidate for the Tezu seat in the declared candidates’ list on March 13. However, on Thursday, issuing a statement, they declared Chai as their candidate. The election for the 60-member state assembly will be held in the state on April 19 along with the Lok Sabha elections.
