During the auspicious occasion of the special Punarvasu Nakshatra, Kanchi Shankaracharya described it as a remarkable coincidence that the birth star of Lord Rama is also Punarvasu, signifying the divine alignment during the consecration of the deity’s idol. Swami Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, mentioned this during the cultural festival organized in Pune as part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
