In October, the number of domestic air travelers increased by 11 percent, reaching 1.26 crore, as reported by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)

In the country, the number of domestic air travelers on an annual basis increased by approximately 11 percent in October, reaching 1.26 crore. In October 2022, the number of domestic travelers was 1.14 crore, while in September 2023, there were 1.22 crore travelers. Last month, the highest number of travelers chose to fly with the budget airline IndiGo, followed by Tata Group’s Air India.
