Companies are currently prioritizing the upskilling of their existing employees, according to a report. The ‘Foundit Insights Tracker’ reported an 8 percent drop in e-recruitment compared to the same period last year, with a 2 percent decrease in hiring on a month-to-month basis. Sekhar Garisa, CEO of Foundit, a Quess company, explained that Indian businesses are concentrating on improving the skills of their current workforce to adapt to changing market dynamics before considering new talent. Nevertheless, he expressed confidence in the nation’s robust and resilient economic prospects despite global challenges.
