In the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly elections, the performance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did not meet the expectations of the high command. The party had fielded 53 candidates in the election field. However, only five of them received more than five thousand votes. Meanwhile, nine candidates received fewer votes even through NOTA. This performance has dealt a significant blow to the morale of the party.
