Prime Minister Modi said, “Whenever I speak about a developed India, I talk about a new mindset. For a developed India, new thinking and direction are essential. The kind of mindset that prevailed in the country for many decades after independence, it was not possible to progress with that mindset. Earlier, the thinking was to just somehow manage the citizens of the country. Keep them content with basic amenities. Previous governments limited facilities to only a few big cities.”
