In Uttarakhand, there are approximately 25,000 EVMs and more than 20,000 VVPAT machines for the Lok Sabha Election 2024. GPS will be used to monitor the EVMs and VVPATs during the elections. Moreover, the Chief Electoral Officer’s office is taking steps towards ensuring complete transparency in the use of EVMs, continually striving for transparency and accountability.
