On the basis of goals from experienced Salima Tete and Vaishnavi Vittal, India defeated Korea 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy and secured its ticket for the title match.
Korea gave a tough competition to the Indian team, which won all its five matches in the league stage. However, Korean players failed to penetrate the Indian defence.
