Indian prime accused in fraud scheme sentenced to 15 years in prison

A US federal court has sentenced a 26-year-old Indian national to over 15 years in prison for masterminding a massive fraud scheme. In this case, American elders were or were the targets of this conspiracy and were threatened.

US Attorney Alamdar Hamdani said that M D Azad, a “US-based kingpin” who worked in a call center in India, was convicted in August last year for his involvement in the conspiracy to defraud scheme from 2019-2020.
