Investment worth Rs 15,000 crore raised in Kerala tourism investor meet: Government

The Kerala government on Friday said that the first Tourism Investors Meet (TIM) organized by it has given a major boost to the state government’s travel and hospitality sector initiatives in the post-pandemic era.

According to a press release issued by the Kerala Tourism Department, the event raised Rs 15,116.65 crore for the region. This also includes an MoU that Kerala Tourism has signed with Tamara Leisure Experiences for a Rs 250 crore ‘Houseboat Hotel Project’. The Bengaluru-based hospitality group will shape the project in Alappuzha and Kannur districts.
