IPS Sadanand Vasanth has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) today (March 27). He will replace Dinakar Gupta, who is set to retire on March 31. Meanwhile, IPS Piyush Anand has been appointed as the Director General of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Additionally, Rajiv Kumar has been appointed as the Director General of the Police Research and Development Bureau.
