Israel-Iran Tensions: Following Iran’s attack on Israel, the situation does not currently seem to be heading towards a direct confrontation between the two countries. Israeli War Cabinet member Benny Gantz has stated that Israel will respond appropriately and in due time to Iran’s attacks. Gantz is also a member of the opposition in the War Cabinet of Israel. He has also served as Israel’s Prime Minister.
