Speaking at the India House in Washington, Jaishankar shared his firsthand account of the events on August 23 when Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, successfully landed on the lunar south pole.
During the mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Johannesburg, South Africa, attending the 15th BRICS Summit from August 22-24. Jaishankar, who accompanied the Prime Minister on the visit, took the opportunity to highlight the remarkable achievements of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists, emphasizing their incredible dedication and conviction.
