The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a member of the Block Development Council (BDC) in Ganderbal district on charges of soliciting and accepting a bribe. The complainant stated that Mining Officer Ganderbal, Majid Ajez, and BDC member Gauhar Ahmad Reshi demanded a bribe of 50,000 rupees for granting a disposal permit. However, the ACB apprehended them.
