India’s unseeded Zeel Desai made it to the quarter-finals of the ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour by defeating top seed Nigina Abduremova of Uzbekistan here on Thursday.
Zeel defeated the Uzbekistan player in straight sets 6-4 6-4 in the women’s singles pre-quarterfinals.
