New Delhi, December 4 Indian boxers Hardik Panwar, Ameesha Kereta and Prachi Tokas had to settle for silver medals after losing their respective finals at the IBA Junior World Boxing Championships in Yerevan, Armenia.
Asian junior champion Hardik (80 kg) lost 2-3 to Russia’s Ashurov Bairamkhan in a close match on Sunday. Both the boxers looked aggressive in this match and capitalized on every opportunity to score points. However, the Russian boxer overpowered the Indian player at the last moment.
