Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has sought relief from the Supreme Court in a defamation case against former party president Rahul Gandhi and a stay order from the appellate court against the conviction of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ramshankar Katheria. Citing said on Tuesday that the justice delivery system in India operates in a mysterious manner.
The former home minister tweeted, “BJP MP from Etawah Ram Shankar Katheria has been convicted in a case and sentenced to two years imprisonment.” He was accused of assault. Within 2-3 days, he got a stay on the conviction from the First Appellate Court of Agra. It is good for Katheria. I will not say anything about this.
