The railway has decided to operate special trains for the festivals. These trains have been introduced on routes where there is a significant waiting period, especially around Diwali. A direct train will run from Kanpur Central to Pune. A Chhath Puja special train will operate from Govindpuri to Malda Town via Anand Vihar.”
