In Kasganj, tragedy struck as people were on their way for a ritualistic Mundan ceremony, celebrating the joy of Ganga snan (holy dip). The road accident occurred when the coupling broke, causing the tractor trolley to overturn into the pond, resulting in 24 fatalities. The village is now engulfed in mourning cries. Authorities have rushed to the village, and the government has assured full assistance. The Chief Minister has also expressed condolences.
