Despite the severe natural calamity that struck Kullu this monsoon, the upcoming Dussehra festival in the district is set to be a grand celebration, with representatives from 20 countries taking part, according to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
During the unveiling of the ‘International Kullu Dussehra Festival’ promotional material, Sukhu expressed confidence that this event would signify the revival of tourism in the region. It would send a clear message that normalcy has returned to Kullu and Manali, making them welcoming destinations for tourists.
Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated various development projects totaling Rs 12 crore for the Kullu assembly constituency, which included a four-story multipurpose building for the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, constructed at a cost of Rs 5.49 crore, as per an official statement.
