Congress and its allies in the new “ghamandia” alliance reluctantly supported the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament and cautioned the public that they might backtrack on this historic legislation if given the chance.
In a fiery address to a massive gathering of BJP workers, known as ‘Karyakarta Mahakumb,’ in the state, the PM launched a scathing attack on the Congress, likening it to “rusted iron.” He alleged that the national party has outsourced its functioning to “urban Naxals” and suggested that it is no longer led by competent leaders.
Furthermore, he cautioned that if the Congress were to regain power in Madhya Pradesh, it could lead the state back into the ‘BIMARU’ (underdeveloped) category of states.
