Lok Sabha Election: JDU candidate and industrialist Anil Sharma faced defeat against the Modi wave. For the first time, JDU, on its traditional seat, managed to secure just over a lakh votes. The main contest was between the NDA-backed RJD candidate Dr. Arun Kumar and RJD’s Surendra Prasad Yadav, where Dr. Arun Kumar emerged victorious amidst the Modi wave.
