The focus of the BJP is on the Lok Sabha seats where the party had faced defeat in the previous elections. According to sources, after the party’s loss in 161 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections, experienced leaders of the state will be entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the party’s position in these seats by engaging in the field with a presence in around 1000 assembly constituencies. The committee formed for these seats includes National General Secretary Sunil Bansal, Vinod Tawde, former General Secretary Naresh Bansal, Party Spokesperson Sambit Patra, and National Secretary Harish Dwivedi
