The state president and other leaders began their special campaign by submitting a demand letter for Dalit rights to Prof. Arbi Singh Gautam, who was a close associate of Kanshi Ram, in the Lalulai village. A one-day Dalit pride march will also be organized in 18 districts. In 2019, the party’s national secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, initiated the celebration of Kanshi Ram’s Nirvana Day at the state headquarters.
