Kolkata: Former IPS officer Debasish Dhar, who resigned from his police officer position to enter politics and contest Lok Sabha elections, had his nomination canceled by the Election Commission for technical reasons. Against the cancellation, the former IPS officer knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court. On Monday, Debasish’s lawyer, Nidhesh Gupta, requested an immediate hearing in the top court.
