Lucknow: Complaint against Junior Engineer (JE) for illegal wealth accumulation in the name of electricity connection. Energy Minister A.K. Sharma was approached by a consumer who alleged that the JE was involved in extortion under the guise of electricity connection. An audio recording of the JE discussing extortion along with a consumer complaint has come to light. JE Anupam Tripathi is currently posted at Amethi Power House and is under investigation for alleged extortion from consumers.
