Lucknow: In light of the Lok Sabha elections, significant transfers have been made in the Uttar Pradesh police. Eight IPS officers, 18 ASP officers, and 39 DSP officers have been shifted from one place to another. Among the transferred IPS officers, seven belong to the 2020 batch, and one belongs to the 2019 batch. IPS Abhinav Tyagi has been assigned to Kushinagar, Aditya Bansal to Muzaffarnagar Rural, Chirag Jain to Azamgarh Rural, Vikram Dahiya to Pilibhit, Anukriti Sharma to Sambhal, Abhijeet Kumar to Fatehpur, Manush Pariik to Ambedkarnagar, and Manoj Kumar Rawat to Gonda. All of them have been appointed to the position of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP).
