Lucknow: In preparation for the upcoming August 15 celebrations, Lucknow’s security apparatus has been put on high alert. The city’s police force has initiated a comprehensive checking campaign across all bustling zones, ensuring a robust security presence in public spaces. This move comes as a response to the need for stringent security measures on Independence Day, with authorities leaving no stone unturned to safeguard the city and its citizens.
The heart of the city, Hazratganj, witnessed an active checking campaign as part of this security drive. Meanwhile, DCP Central, Aparna Kaushik, took charge of the initiative, personally leading the checking efforts. Alongside the police force, the bomb squad teams were also actively engaged, performing thorough inspections in various locations, including the Saharaganj Mall. As the August 15 celebrations draw nearer, Lucknow stands vigilant, ensuring the safety and security of its residents and visitors alike.
