Lucknow: Results announced for Uttar Pradesh Rajya Sabha elections. BJP victorious on 8 seats, SP on 2. RPN Singh and Sudhanshu Trivedi from BJP won. Chaudhary Tejveer Singh and Sadhna Singh also emerged victorious for BJP. Amarpal Maurya, Sangita Balwant, and Navin Jain secured wins. BJP’s 8th candidate Sanjay Seth also triumphed. Jayabachchan and Ramji Lal Suman from SP emerged victorious. However, SP’s third candidate Alok Ranjan lost. 11 candidates contested for 10 seats in the Rajya Sabha. Amar Pal received 38 votes, RPN Singh got 37. Sadhna Singh received 38 votes, while Sanjay Seth got 29. Sangita Balwant received 38, and Sudhanshu Trivedi got 38 votes.
