Lucknow: The voting process for the eight Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh commenced at the scheduled time of 7 AM in the first phase. With a total of 1.44 crore voters across Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit constituencies, the fate of 80 candidates, including several prominent figures, will be decided. The first phase witnesses high-stakes contests, with prominent figures such as Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan and Uttar Pradesh Minister Jitin Prasada in the fray.
