(M&M Ltd.) has reported robust auto sales figures for September 2023, with a total of 75,604 vehicles sold, marking a remarkable year-on-year growth of 17%, including exports. In the passenger vehicle segment, Mahindra achieved impressive monthly sales of 41,267 units in the domestic market for September.

The year-on-year growth for Mahindra’s passenger vehicle lineup in September reached 20%. It’s noteworthy that Mahindra’s entire passenger vehicle portfolio is now composed of SUVs, making this the company’s highest-ever monthly volume in the SUV segment.
Mahindra’s overall monthly sales totaled 42,260 vehicles, which includes passenger vehicles shipped to international markets. Additionally, domestic sales for commercial vehicles amounted to 23,997 units in September.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., expressed his excitement about achieving the highest-ever SUV sales for the third consecutive month, with 41,267 vehicles representing a 20% growth. He also mentioned that in September, Mahindra crossed the significant milestone of selling over 1 lakh units of its Bolero Maxx Pik Up trucks, making it the fastest-selling pickup in the country to reach this milestone. Nakra emphasized the strong demand for Mahindra’s key SUV brands and the need to closely monitor semiconductor and component availability to meet the robust demand during the festive season.
