A massive fire broke out at Vishal Mega Mart due to a short circuit in the basement generator room. The fire quickly spread to the first floor. Before the flames could reach the employees, around six fire engines were called, and they managed to control the fire after rigorous efforts. Several vehicles in the parking area were also engulfed in flames. During the firefighting, one firefighter sustained minor injuries and was promptly treated. The blaze has been brought under control, but the building’s parking area remains charred with remnants of burnt vehicles.
