Manipur: All educational institutions, including schools and colleges, will remain closed for two days in Manipur. Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has decided to close schools and colleges on 6th and 7th May as a precautionary measure to avoid any unpleasant incident amid heavy rainfall. It’s worth noting that heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms occurred in several parts of Manipur on Sunday, causing damage to homes and vehicles.
