The Manipur violence, the State Bank of India (SBI) has extended relief to its customers. The Manipur Regional Office stated in a notice that the relief package includes waiver of interest payments on equated monthly installments (EMIs) and other installments for a period of 12 months. This facility will be applicable to borrowers whose accounts remained classified as Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) as of May 3, 2023.
