The Haryana Government has selected actor Mita Vashisht to serve as the chairperson of the governing council responsible for supervising the implementation of the Haryana Film and Entertainment Policy. This appointment followed the unfortunate passing of actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik in March this year.
With nearly four decades of experience in theater and cinema, Vashisht has contributed to acclaimed films such as “Drohkaal” (1994), “Dil Se..” (1998), “Ghulam” (1998), and “Taal” (1999), along with popular television shows like “Swabhimaan” (1994), “Hip Hip Hurray” (1998), and “Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki” (2005).
