ZPM formed four years ago gets majority in trends, ruling MNF suffers huge loss
Since 1984, there have been Congress and Mizo National Front (MNF) governments in the north-eastern state Mizoram. This time it will be interesting to see whether MNF’s Zoramthanga is able to save his government or whether the new political party Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) formed under the leadership of former state IPS Lalduhoma will create a new political equation.
